Rachelle completed her studies in Old Testament/Hebrew Bible at the University of Sydney (PhD), before undertaking postdoctoral research at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem and the University of Edinburgh. She is currently co-editor for Journal for the Study of the Old Testament鈥痑nd serves on the editorial board for the鈥疞ibrary of Hebrew Bible/Old Testament Series鈥痜or T&T鈥疌lark. She has formerly been an editor for the鈥疪eview of Biblical Literature, Australian Biblical Review鈥痑nd was founder and co-chair of the Society of Biblical Literature annual meeting programme unit,鈥疊ook of Samuel: Narrative,鈥疶heology鈥痑nd Interpretation.鈥疕er current projects include 鈥淪ex and Sovereignty in the Hebrew Bible鈥 (volume under contract with OUP) and 鈥淧olitics and Kinship in the Ancient World.鈥
